Checked a guest into 201 he came down and said it had a funny smell to the room so I moved him to 404

The guest in 306 came down and showed me a picture of a burn spot on the carpet under the foot of the bed just wanted to let us know it wasn't them and was already there. It did look like an old burn spot

The coach for the Mazama robotics group is in rm 342 if there's any issues just call her

Around 1030pm I had a white guy blue jeans white shirt dirty looking come in and go straight to the elevators. Security had just got here so I asked him to follow the guy and make contact. Sure enough the guy wasn't a guest and tried to make excused to be on the 4th floor. Security escorted him out of the hotel and told him not to return. If he does come back just go ahead and call Salem PD
