 I've noticed over the last few weeks when I've come back from my (Cynthia) days off that someone has opened a new soda case when there was older soda on the shelf to be used first. This is important for so we don't have items expiring on us. So please make sure to check all the shelves before opening new ones. If you cant kneel down to get them out of the cabinet and there isn't more in the storage then just ask the next shift to stock that one for you so were not mixing expiration dates up. I went ahead and numbered and stacked all soda that had multiple ones on top of each other. So coke is all reg coke and the zero is on the other end. If you have any questions let me know

 A shuttle guest Shruti Jadeja left the case to her air pods on the couch. She will be out of the country for 10 days once she returns she will come pick them up. The case is located in the back office with the rest of the lost items. It's a white case with her name written on it. Natane Kinsley - a restaurant employee grandfather dropped off her mail this morning. Please be sure that she receives it. It's located in right register.

 I had a reservation come in today that the agent name was Lucid Travel and didnt have any info that it was supposed to  be a virtual card. Taslima had authorized the card already but when I dropped the card down to add the incidental card the original virtual card that was authed no longer showed an auth amount. When I went to check the guest in the virtual card declined. I took the guest info and went ahead and gave her keys since we had an auth code on file. I looked up lucid travel and contacted them and they had hotels tonight call me with a new virtual card. So if you see a res with the travel agent field saying lucid travel that is a per paid res. Moved 327 to 422 due to noise from 427

He did a sweep of the building and also found the back door propped open. 316 - Arrived after the Audit had been run. I changed the status of the reservation from No Show to Due In and set the number of days to 0 (So it shows him arriving and leaving on 4/19), but was unable to check him in. The deposit was pre-authorized and the reservation was from Priceline. I marked 316 as Dirty and noted it on Jeff's morning report and the Front Desk list of departures.

 218 Morgan Vasquez acted a little off when she checked in but not enough to warrant any concern. She came down with her dog and I wasn't sure if she was on the phone or talking to herself but she was mumbling something. She then went to the restaurant and was bothering other guest and the workers. She came to the desk at around 915 and asked for help and that she wanted her boyfriend. I asked where he was and she didn't know so I asked if she had his number and she said no and then asked for me to call the police and ask for help. So I called and asked them to come remove her from the property. Salem PD showed up around 945 and spoke to her and took her to get her stuff and escorted her off the property.

Please remember that when stocking the store that you are putting the proper thing in the proper place. Also make sure you are using the oldest product first. I came in today and there was coke zero stocked in with the cokes and someone had opened the new case of coke zero when there was still some on the shelf. Please make sure to be properly stocking the store. New items going out go behind the items already out. For the soda when stocking you need to take the cold one out and put the newer ones behind them so the older ones get used first. FIRST IN FIRST OUT. If you have any questions about doing this just ask me Mr. Carlson in 434 is already checked in just give him the keys that are made on the shelf

 *Do Not Extend Room 304, that is where the smell from the 3rd floor is coming from. *Reservations for Madison Meyer, Klamath County Disability Services is trying us out after a very bad experience with another hotel. Please make them feel very welcome, explain all amenities and restaurant hours.

 Round 3:30 ish a woman came in with a duffle bag, a back pack and a heavy jacket. She stated she was dropping it off for a guest name "David" I checked Opera and there is no reservation for that name. She later returned with a unmarked " no name label" pill bottle to add to the pile. She stated she had texted him and would call him to come down as she did not have a room number. No one ever came to retrieve the items, they are located in the back office. Guest in room 444 Stanley Ross Jr payment did not go through. He was with the Home Depot Inc. group AX ending in 3006. As well as room 448 Efrain Duarte, with the same group AX ending in 1002. I was only able to bill room 450 from their group. Unable to bill the no shows in Tiffanie's block. I also wasn't able to bill Myan Rush no show, it failed via Booking.com and Dominic Biggi also in Tiffanie's block.

 Room 440 said that they serviced either today or yesterday. his room and his Wall Scent from bath and body works is missing . He was wanting an explanation as to why and if it had been taken from the room. I said I don't think someone has taken it. But he is curtain it was in the room and now it is gone.-- Per Shawn Sat 440 was a DND, and they didn't do stayovers Sunday. Slow night, no problems.

 At approximately 11:45pm a woman came in and informed us that a vehicle in the back parking lot was "smoking." Tia and I investigated and there was a white moving truck, which had smoke coming out of it as well as the cab being full of smoke. Tia called 911 while I tried to determine who the vehicle belonged to. After the police arrived it was discovered that the truck, which was indeed on fire, was unlocked and we were able to determine that the vehicle belongs to Nicol Ludwig in Rm 407. Lobby notified the guest that the police wanted to speak with them. The cause of the fire is currently unknown though the police didn't rule out arson. The police will be contacting management tomorrow. 248 has a vehicle in the Parking Lot: 2014 Buick Verano Convenience, Royal Blue, OR 270 NUU

425 12:30pm c/o 332 1pm c/o  231 came down around 10pm saying that she was wanting to check out because she found bugs in her room. I apologized and offered to move her room but she declined and just insisted on checking out. She was a Priceline reservation so I explained to her that I couldn't do any kind of refund but she could contact Brennon and she what he could do for her. I had James go up to the room and look around. He said that he said that he didn't see any bugs of any kind. She said they were like small roaches. I totally believe that she is just trying to get a free night she was in the room for several hours before she said anything 426 Cleve Schwenk checked in last night but didn't know his rewards number so I looked it up for him. If he comes down please give him the paper that's on the back counter with his number

Make sure we are filling out the late checkout sheets for late checkout. We have them in the blog which is great! but housekeeping need to know as well so fill out the sheet and put it on housekeeping (SHAWN) door.  Glasses left on couch in lobby i put them in till drawer on left side.

 Someone by the name of Antoine Williams 404 - 403 - 6757 called this morning stating his Mastercard ending in 8023 was charged $218 yesterday 4 / 11 / 24. He stated he is in Atlanta where he resides he is unsure how his Mastercard was charged. He would like management to look into this as well as a refund.  Done/ BC I wasn't able to technically run audit because you cleared the past dates its stated that" Audit was ran 3 hours ago, would you like to change the date to 4 / 12 / 24 then run the audit" and pushed no. I was able to print the audit paperwork out but now I am unable check out the guest. At this time rooms : 208, 410, 313 and 326 are gone and has checked out of the hotel but it does not show in Opera. Room 422 would like a s/o for house keeping to clean and restock their room please.     this has been corrected, managed to force the audit through.

306 Late checkout 1pm Room 217 has the Scooter down here, it could not fit in the room. They are checking out in the morning. Got a scam call at 9:45 asking for access to my Opera. He said he was with IHG. He said we needed to complete an update on our new computers. I told him our computers were not new and that I had not been aware of an update. He insisted I provide an email to send me information about the update and steps to take. I asked him what my property code is and he told me "I will call back later", then he hung up.  NO UPDATES TONIGHT. JUST tell them you need manager permission and HANG UP!

202 - Kurig is not working 426 - Needs to extend. Guest stated that her company made her reservation for too few nights. She will have them call us to authorize CC on file for another night John Short (Rms 319. 320; 321) came down for breakfast vouchers. Tia informed him that his reservation didn't include breakfast, Mr. Short said his stay last week included it and there must be as mistake. Since the new reservation was made at the FD and didn't include breakfast in error, Tia issued the vouchers.

 439 is out of order until thursday: damage to the wall.

 *Not sure who gave breakfast vouchers to John Short's rooms, 319, 320, 321, but they don't have breakfast included. Please make sure you are only giving vouchers to rooms that have it included in the rate!   - His rooms are updated for breakfast, but from now on this must be included in the rate, otherwise it has to be purchased from the restaurant. *

 Had a guest call that believes they left a stuffed rhino in the room when they checked out. It was room 410 and they checked out 4/5. Can u please have housekeeping look and if found contact the guest Josh Reed at 503 347 9246 BRENNAN YOU NEED TO FIX THIS TODAY!!!!! When I ran audit last night I got a couple error messages I've never seen.  When I ran  the audit and chose the day to run it popped up a box saying "NUMBER OF DAYS OPEN IS 16" not sure what they means and why were would have any open days since running audit is supposed to close the day automatically. Then after audit finished running it popped another error saying "PRIOR DATES OPEN NEED TO BE CLOSED??  What does this mean??? 

 Rm 436 asked for stayover service tomorrow. Rm 436 is also a B2B for tomorrow, cc verified, please check out and back in after audit. Rm 228 2pm check out.

 217 left again and returned and could not remember what room she was in and also needed another key to her room. I let her know this would be the last key she would receive as she had received several keys throughout the evening. She was visibly highly intoxicated.

I informed her that we were currently completely booked at this time. Room 341 called to state their room was infested with bed bugs. They moved to room 306 and was given a roll out bed. I put the room out of order on Opera.  Room 304 extended his stay for 5 more days. 

 326 12pm c/o 339 1pm c/o on Sunday The group that was supposed to bring us their breakfast choices didn't come back tell after the restaurant      was closed. I left the paper with TIA

Guest in room 204 stated the toilet and refrigerator in his room was making a loud sound all throughout the night. Guest checked out. 

*Rm427, Christopher has a pass code to get a key remade if needed, doesn't have an ID. *Reservations for 7 rooms Karen Bones on the 12th, people will be calling to put their individual names and cc on reservations. *Rm 322, didn't like it, moved to 433, put in clean status. *Rm 249 is an un used clean room. *Rm 431 is a Platinum member. He booked with breakfast, 2 adults and 1 child. I explained that only covers the two adults, but he argued with me that no he booked for all 3 of them, and he always does this and it is always honored all all the Holiday Inns he stays at. I ended up giving him the voucher and a kids voucher. I let Daisy know about it as well.

 Room 224 stated he believes her room may have been broken into as. She stated she left and returned and her door was ajar. 503 - 801 - 0525 Room 310 will like bath towels placed in his room. He left this morning but will be returning later. 911 was called as a stranger tried to enter the hotel and refused to leave between the door entrance. She was transported away and I discarded her trash left behind.
